POLICIES & FAQ'S
Custom and personalized orders
We are sometimes able to accommodate custom orders such as v-necks or 100% cotton items. Please reach out to us at hi@mamarising.co to discuss how we can make that happen for you.
Where are your t-shirts sourced?
The majority of our t-shirts are sourced from a local company in southern California that takes pride in an eco-friendly process to make their shirts. American made is something we believe in deeply and the majority of their entire production is located in the USA, providing well over 1,000 jobs in Los Angeles. With growth they have expanded their production to use factories to sew their products in Central America. They are certified in Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). WRAP is a globally recognized, independent 3rd party certifying body whose mission is to promote ethical, humane and lawful conditions and practices in all manufacturing facilities. When it comes to choosing where to make their products, they evaluate factory partners based on a shared vision around environmental and social responsibility.
At Mama Rising, we believe in offering a high quality design and a high quality product. We’ve sourced shirts that are super soft, comfortable, durable, and have a flattering style. We use premium crafted tees made with arlume combed and ringspun cotton.
- Clean Cotton: Our shirts comb out 2.5x more impurities than standard ring spun cotton
- Long Staple Cotton: This makes for less stray fibers and a tight-knit print surface
- Eco-Dyed: Our fabric is dyed using 7x less water and eco-friendly dyes
For best results, we recommend washing our tees on the delicate cycle with cold water using a mild laundry detergent. Turn the shirt inside out when washing and drying. Tumble dry with low heat only, but for best results go the old fashioned route and hang shirts to dry to preserve your items. Drying the shirts at normal to high heat settings will ruin the ink and cause cracking over time. Using detergents with harsh chemicals and/or fabric softeners will also ruin the ink. Shirts placed in the dryer will shrink a bit. If ironing is your jam, please do not do so over the ink.
We are not responsible for items that have been damaged due to improper care.
Do you donate to any organizations?
We give back a portion of net profits to charities fighting for medical freedom. Since establishing Mama Rising in 2019, we have donated a portion of our proceeds to Children’s Health Defense, Justice for Evee, and Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN).
I'm local, can I pick up my order?
Unfortunately we currently do not have a storefront and are unable to allow for local pickup. Our apologies.
The item I want is out-of-stock, when will it be available?
Unfortunately, many of the products we use are currently experiencing stock issues due to everything happening in our world. We are not able to know when an item will be back in stock. Please sign up for restock notifications on our website so we can send you an email when it’s back in stock. We use Instagram often to announce new products and restocks of our favorite products. If you follow there, @mamarisingcollective, you will be 'in the know'.
When will you be having a sale?
We do a very limited number of sales throughout the year. If you join our mailing list, you'll enjoy secret sales and the perks of being the first to know about new releases and all sorts of other good stuff.
